August Board Meeting
After the meeting we will have a campfire weather permitting. Everyone is welcome to bring snacks or Smore makings.
Location: Airport firepit
Date: August 12th
Time: 5:30
Directions: park in the airport parking lot. The official parking lot is located on Venturi Way. When you turn off of Crawford Road onto Venturi, you will see a sign halfway down the little hill indicating the airport parking. There is also an orange cone there near the sign. It’s a grass lot. From there, folks just need to get back onto Venturi way on foot and head to the front of the hangars. Continue to walk South in front of the hangars and straight ahead they will see a portable classroom. If it’s raining we can go in there. If it’s beautiful then folks should continue heading South and the firepit is just beyond the classroom and kiosk.

Speed humps!
You may have noticed some new features on the road…
Everyone, say “Hello” to your new speed humps. Designed to control speed, while not bouncing the cargo of trucks around quite as much, the new speed humps are working to address two of your biggest concerns:
- Speed on the road
- Longevity of the road
After consulting with engineers, business owners, homeowners, and all sorts of drivers, we’re sure they’re the best traffic calming devices for the job!
Some of our neighbors tell us that our humps might even be dressing up in the future…. Stay tuned!
